UKAS accreditation

Paxton has achieved accreditation as a Testing Laboratory for EMC testing

We are a UKAS accredited testing laboratory No. 25241 to International Standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017 – General Requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.
We are accredited to ISO 17025 by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) for many of the EMC tests that we perform in our test facility.
The range of tests and standards against which we are accredited can be found on our current UKAS schedule at www.ukas.com/find-an-organisation

What is accreditation?
Accreditation is the formal recognition that an organisation is competent to perform specific processes, activities, or tasks in a reliable, credible and accurate manner.

Why do you need accreditation?
Accreditation delivers confidence in report, certificates and conformity statements. It underpins the quality of results by ensuring their traceability, comparability, validity and commutability.

Why choose an accredited laboratory?
UKAS accredited testing reduces risk and provides confidence for customers to place products on the market

As an accredited laboratory, we have demonstrated our competences and that we have appropriate working procedures and facilities in which to carry out the testing.
By choosing a UKAS accredited testing laboratory, not only can you be assured that you are receiving the most appropriate service for your needs but you will also discover that the UKAS ‘symbol’ on your test documentation brings with it national and international recognition to your product compliance through the ILAC MRA mark.
